REMEDIATING CANADA’S LARGEST ENVIRONMENTAL PROGRAMS

Nän Ka Contracting Limited Partnership is a Canadian-owned joint venture between Yukon-based Castle Rock Enterprises, and global contractor ECC. Nän Ka provides mining reclamation, environmental remediation, construction, and workforce housing and logistics solutions to difficult challenges facing the Canadian government. We specialize in large, logistically challenging, highly complex, and high-profile projects throughout Canada.

We have the combined advantage of understanding how to successfully remediate the toughest of challenges, gained through the remediation of hundreds of sites, combined with a deep understanding of the unique complexities of the local environment that can only come from having a 25-year rooted history in the Yukon. We have performed some of Canada’s largest environmental programs, including at Port Hope, Goose Bay, and Sydney Tar Ponds.

As a local contractor, we strive to strengthen the communities in which we live and work, maximizing local and regional socio-economic benefits. We do so with a strong culture of safety and quality, and dedication to partnering and hiring from within our local communities.

Nän Ka, which means “For the Sake of the Land,” is a guiding principle for our partnership’s mission, vision, and values—to respect the land, its resources, and people. Nän Ka strives to protect human health and safety and preserve and restore the environment and its resources.
