As part of the $2.3 billion Earthquake Recovery Program at the Naval Air Weapons Station (NAWS) China Lake, the team constructed, operated, and maintained an 850-person temporary housing and full berthing camp for contractors supporting the effort. In a little more than four months, accommodations were completed for the first 400 residents, while meeting the US Navy’s unique specifications and overcoming COVID-19 pandemic restrictions and challenges.
Under a related task order, the team is performing a $781M project to construct new and updated facilities, including hangars, an integration laboratory, an air traffic control tower, an apron, and a fire and rescue station.
